Anchorage Equal Rights Commission
Who We Are
"If you believe you have experienced discrimination or harassment, you may contact the Commission staff by phone, email, or walk-in and they will advise you of your rights at no charge. Alternatively, you may also fill out AERC's online Intake Questionnaire. In appropriate cases, the staff will prepare a complaint of discrimination for your signature and impartially investigate your allegations. If your case is outside of the Commission’s jurisdiction, the staff may be able to make referrals to other organizations that can assist you.
If you or your organization are interested in a presentation to learn more about the AERC or anti-discrimination laws, please fill out our online Outreach Questionnaire, and we will respond to your inquiry within two business days.
No appointment is necessary and translators are available free of charge."
